Help!!! My spacers are stuck to the roters
I am taking off my summer tires for the 1st time and the spacers that came with them are now attached to my roters and won't come off. What can I do to get them to come off?

that's what I told him
heat it up with a hair dryer or a heat gun and hit it with a rubber mallet.

Apathy Kills
First, drown them in Liquid Wench...er.. WRENCH. :chuckles:
Then, as DC2 alluded to, whack the spacer using either:
a) a wooden mallet and a section of 2x4, to protect the spacer
or
b) a fairly soft rubber mallet.
In either case, wind up and swing like hell. Good form and follow-through are key.
Repeat as necessary, though if done right, they should pop loose with one or two blows.
Godspeed.

One came off, one will not. I have been at it for a 1/2 hr now. If I can't get it off soon I will have to put the summer rims back on and bring it to someplace to change them hnoes:

OK, now my two front ones are off and my snows are off. The back ones are stuck too and these look like they will be harder since there is more to the roter in the back. Anyone have any advice on the back ones?
