Default Friend of mine died in a kayaking accident

My friend Josh was kayaking in some rough water on the Shenandoah river with a buddy and their kayaks got flipped. The buddy managed to swim to a little island and was later rescued, but Josh didn't make it. They found his body 6 days later. This just has me kind of bummed out so um, yeah.

i'm so sorry. i dont know what to say...but that seriously brought tears to my eyes.. :wtc:

just try to remember his life, and not the day that he died or was found...he seemed like a real happy person..and he should be remembered for that. hang in there man..it'll get better. was just his time to go...seems so early though...

I'm not too broken up about it. He worked with me at Camp Airy which as most of you guys know is where I disappear to every summer. We have people who come from all over the place to work there; UK, France, Sweden, Australia, South Africa, etc. We have a staff email list and it was amazing the outpouring of support that came through it. My inbox was full up with at least 30 messages a day while this was going on from various people. This kind of thing makes me feel that much better about the place in that it can form such solid bonds between so many people, it just sucks that it had to be demonstrated like this.
