a HAN member almost died! (read)

"Well are you ready for my story and whats been up with me and why I haven't been on HAN? Here goes:
So on 11/17/2003 - 11/22/2003 I about died. For real! On that Monday (the 17th) I started to have a stomache ache. No big deal right until on Wednsday I couldn't even move and the pain brought me to tears at times. I ended going to the doctor who then sent me to the ER for an emergency apendectomy. Basically my apendix had exploded. They said that it had ruptured two days prior. So I they kept me in the hospital till Sat. (11/22/03) Then that same day I was having a extremely hard time breathing and I was hawking stuff up as well. So I went back the ER. They took some X-Ray's and found liquid in my lungs and then sent me in an ambulance up to the U of U hospital. There I was in the ICU for two day's and then in a regular room for one day before being released on 11/25/03. They diagnosed me with whats called ARDS. Which is aka Adult Resperitory Distress Syndrom.
So I right now I am at home with whats called a PICC line. Basically there is a small tube in one of my viens that goes to my heart that I put the antibotics in to help my lungs heal. Things are going well, I am back at work now. I got yer message and it was good to hear from you. Talk to you later."
