I heard the same thing. But supposedly you can't have anything hanging off your mirror that obstructs your view of the road. So I guess depending on the cop, he could be a dick and say that whatever is hanging off your mirror, he could cite you for it.

 

That's exactly how it is.

But I see people with gads of useless crap hanging from their rearview. Fuzzy dice.. Hawaiin Lais.. scrunchies.

And this was actually on one car I saw the other day. :doh:

 

A cop that pulled me over for my exhaust wanted to cite me for what I had hanging off my mirror. It was my graduation tassel. That's like a piece of string, and he said that it obstructs my view.

 

I saw so many riced out cars when I was in Kansas last week. I took a bunch of pics of it too...oh what fun it is to go rice hunting.


at least it doesn't have altezzas, but still that poor civic. :barf:
