is it bad to hold in the clutch for periods of time..
lets say, im in 4th, pull up to a light and press in the clutch and the brake, i stop, leave my foot on the clutch for a good 2 - 3 mins until the lgith turns green, put it in first, then just go.. is that bad? should i be putting it in neutral and taking my foot off the clutch?

From what others with more experiance tell me, don't leave the clutch in.
The throwout bearing? will wear out quicker?

I leave mine pushed in, and the car in first gear. Just in case you hear screaming brakes from behind I can get on it. I have done this on all my cars and have never had any problems with throw out bearing wear
