Default Thoughts on Clarion VRX-925VD

In dash DVD player...7" flip out LCD monitor, touch screen, DVD/CD/MP3 player. I'm thinking about getting one, but before I drop $1500-1600 on it, I need some opinions. Anyone ever had one or used one before?

well if ya have your heart set on the 925, check ebay, there was one on there that was used for 6 months but is going for $600, but there is a reserve on it...

if you would rather have the 935 go here ikesound.com

only $1100, better than the $1500 you described, not sure how much shipping is though...

Um so what does it do that a $300 deck can't do, aside from look funky and cost 5 times as much? Who watches DVDs when they drive anyway?

my friend has one in his vette. it's cool, but i dont like how it sticks out of the dash. it's almost an inch longer than a standard din head unit.

booty - some people want LCD screens and dvd players, ok?

In fact, it looks like butt.

oh, and the clarion doesn't look so good either.
I have a nice spare 15" LCD screen and a 10" one laying around. Maybe I can put these to good use.

:werd: I was thinking that's a load of jing for something I would consider semi-useful but I'm not him and maybe it's been his life-long dream to watch DVDs while driving. :dunno:
