OHC > pushrods
but....pushrods do the job just fine and i dont see the point in completely changing an engine just to incorporate overhead cams. besides, on a V8 i would think pushrods would be a more inexpensive solution. one came versus two equals cheaper engine.

For comparison, the 1998 GT total dressed engine mass (dry) for 1998 is listed as follows:
Manual trans: 529 lbs
Auto trans: 492 lbs
now, these aren't the greatest sources, but it's what i could find real quick.
and what do you mean by inefficcient? hp/liter? or hp/lb?
Well i bought the car for 1300. Needs some new parts and the engine is being replaced. I am using mostly new stuff. Plus not ... all of it is engine. probobly.... 1-2k is non engine :thumbup:
