Default My degree finally came through the mail!

And I'm really glad that Davis' signature is the one that's on there h:

If I had a scanner or camera, though, I'd share, but I don't :happysad:

That was such a joke... seriously, there is NO greek life whatsoever, and the frats are generally ignored by most of the people at UCSC...

I went to a frat party at UCSC once... I left after 30 minutes... the girls were fugly and they went the "Economic" route for booze... Tampico and Vodka...

Seriously, though, I saw them being filmed once or twice... I just turned and walked the other direction.

And I dunno if MTV showed this, but the UC dropped all recognition of that fraternity at the end of that year... Basically, for one of their "Pledge" stunts, they caught and killed a 20~25 year old Koi from a pond (The pond was no less than 500 feet from my old room!), grilled it and ate it. The Koi were an icon of my college, and I'd use to sit on the edge of the pond and watch them when things got stressful... and the one they killed was one of the coolest/friendliest!

But, seriously, Frats at UCSC are like the bottom of the social ladder, and are mostly regarded as jokes and attempts of the UCLA rejects to feel less bad...

Nah... but I recognize that frat house... that was the one I went to with the pathetic party... I think it's the same place at least... Yep, it was, cause I recognize this guy:

Chris... He lived on my hall one year, and was a decently cool guy... he tried to get me to pledge with him, then tried for the next two quarters to join his frat...

I will not, and I repeat will NOT willfully subject myself to the indignity that those guys suffer... fawk any group that expects that

UB also had "fraternity life" and my gosh was their house in a shithole of the city. UB North > UB South. Wait, they shuffle you between the two anyway. I heart UB.
