Anyone know where to buy the Initial D dvd set? How many stages/dvds are there total? Im looking for the Japanese voices with english subtitles. Before you flame its not for me, I have a little cousin who would totally flip if he got it for Christmas. Help a homie out. :goodjob:

I think only the first 2 DVDs, all in all 6 episodes, are out. The third one coming out in January. At least on the Tokyo Pop version.

at the comp fair, they had the second stage, the movie, and the battle stage. but they were straight from japan, not the english versions.

I hear that discountanimedvd sells bootleg copies. Not just them too... I hear all the ebay fools sell bootleg ones. I might be shopping for other things if I cant find real deal ones soon. Shoot, I want some Initial D too, Ive only seen stage 1 and 2. No spoilers in my thread. :fawk:

 

I got the first set as a gift (English sub and Japanese audio) I have been reading the comics after that. The one I got is by (I think) Anime Cartoon International Inc (email: dvd_animation@yahoo.com). Good luck with this one.

The first set is great then after I read the following comics it gets better. It's so addictive. But no spoilers now.

 

The comics are the best. I'm on the last manga book.
