I'm wondering about Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 now that someone's brought up different racing games.

yeah I'm wondering wether to pick up Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 its only $20 USD!!! who has played both and comments please. Which would you prefer?

i had that problem.. runnin into on comming traffic.. but i had the difficulty on hard.. try putting the dificulty down.. by the way i have it on PC

 

alright. I picked up Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 last night have played for maybe only 3 hours total. All i can say is that I hope it gets better. I played NFSU and its a little faster-paced game. You move along a bit faster with the tuning of the car. The storyline of NFSU is much much better. TXR3 is quite repetative, all you do is go drive around these highways racing people, the roads/environment is not very interactive. I personally don't enjoy when you're so limited to where you can drive. The saving grace of the game would be to see what kind of potential tuning capabilities the game has.

Another added benefit of NFSU is that EA did their research, with real brands and whatnot. For $20 for TXR3 I guess you really can't waste the money, even if it entertains for only a week.
