I have one that I want to throw in the hatch, but I can't think of a good way to mount it yet. But it's a decent Midland one.

Why? You thinking about getting one? I've got an extra.

I have an old Cobra with a boost box that I use in the Jeep when off roading.

im actually thinking about one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=40055&rd=1

the guts reside under the seat or in the trunk, and you only have the handset. the handset has all the controls on the grip so you dont have to look at the ugly box. also, a guy on miata.net sells a splicer to let it share bandwidth with the radio antenna so you dont need a gay one.

handheld CBs have a low range...and i think youre talking about FSR which is like great for hiking, not so much for driving.
