I have an email account through my school and it's completely inundated with spam. Luckily I have my Outlook filtering mad tight.

if there were some way to filter these emails into the bulk mails folder, that would be sweet. i empty that folder everyday without even looking in it. after one day i can come back and it'll have 80+ emails. :squint:

I'm pretty sure there's some way to set up Outlook to check emails from a Hotmail account. Then you can use the Outlook spam filtering capability.

The best thing to do with Outlook is to add the domain name of the junk sender to your list rather than the individual sender address. Dunno if Hotmail lets you do that through the web client but you should have no problem while using Outlook.

I've had my hotmail account for almost three years and I don't get ANY spam email. I get the occasional promotional email from companies that I've bought stuff from like Victoria's secret, American Eagle, etc.
