Default i got a grip of change .. at least a hundred bucks worth

so, what am i to do w/this coinage. do i count it and take it to the bank? or take it to the supermarket thingy and have them take a cut.

or do banks count it for me

banks never count it. I went to coinstar last night. only took like 2.50 out of 30 bucks...

I think going to the bank and getting those roll things would be best. I once got 96 bucks from the coinmachine but im not sure how much they took out of it. :dunno:

:dunno: if they never count it, how do they verify... or do they jus assume those rolls are accurate

most banks don't have the machines to count the coins anymore. you have to put them in the rolls.

I think they weigh it, or something. The grocery store did that with my rolls before. They took a bank roll of coins and compared the weights.

But I know for sure they don't take your jar of coins and count em for you.

My bank dumps the coins into a coinstar-like machine to count it all up. :thumbup:

nm, my mom jus told me they have a machine at the post office that counts it for me .. and theyll give me bills for it
