and I look under the special features where it lists the cast, and I notice that Aragorn/Viggo Mortensen isn't listed...on either The Fellowship or The Two Towers. :eh: I thought this was weird since he's like one of the biggest characters in the movie, but it list everybody else.

On a side note, I never realized that Gimli is played by the same dude that played The Professor in Sliders. h:

I use to love Sliders...my Tivo is programmed to record it whenever it shows it on SciFi...but I'm lost because I didn't watch it after it got cancelled from Fox, so I'm lost. and yeah, I was like :doh: when I saw who it was...and his name sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it.

hmm, i'll have to see that. i used to love sliders too. his name is john rhys-davies. he was also in indiana jones

not to mention he also does the voice for treebeard in the two towers.

 

Yeah, I just figured that out...I'm looking at the cast screen from Two Towers right now (about to watch it).
I don't even remember Indiana Jones...I haven't seen an Indiana Jones movie for over 10 years.

sir ian holm (bilbo) did the narration for one of the audio LOTR sets, and ian mckellan might play professor dumbledore in harry potter.


i heart LOTR, movie and books tolkien was a genius

and I have The LOTR books...but I just can't read them...too much poetry. The stories are excellent, I'm sure..but it's not an easy read.
