i just hit a cat. it seriously flew right out in front of my car, and i tried not to hit it but it was too late. i don't know if its dead, and i feel bad for letting it suffer, but i couldn't bring myself to stop
weird thing is, the same cat did the exact same thing to me about a month ago, and i almost got into a car accident trying not to hit it.
the lady that i'm pretty sure owns it has cerebral palsy (she has quite a few cats) and has been asking the local community to donate her cat food (first, because her disabilty checks got taken away, then because walmart fired her. she's not stupid though, she leaves signs that say "cats sentenced to death by wilson" etc. i never donated because i believed if they really were going to starve to death, and she loved them that much, she'd give them up to the SPCA). she can afford to put gas in her car apparantly though, since she almost t-boned me with her car. so i guess its like i feel bad, but i don't feel bad? i'm not really sure how to explain it.
i hope for its sake though it didn't suffer

um, yeah, it is easy for me to say. but since you don't know about my life and my experiences with animals, why don't you keep your nasty little comments to yourself?
Cats shouldn't be outside in the first place. They can get diseases or run over by cars. I never let my cats outside. I never hit a cat but I hit a rabbit once. I tried to swerve and I missed it with my front wheels but then hit it with the back wheel.

its hard not to keep them outside, because they can get out, etc. thats how my first cat died. she got out and never came back (she had gotten out a couple times before, but always came home). i honestly really did try not hit it, but i couldn't stop. if you have a cat outside, be prepared that something like this might happen.
