They said 3mm big, which is about "perfect" size, the doctor said; He said suprisingly you can develop them literally over night. Mine though... has been coming on for a while, because i went to the af base ER with severe back pain, and when they did a urine sample they came back and said, "there's a little blood in your urine" and walked out. nothing more was said They think it is most likely from dehydration, but there is a slight chance it is from soda, sweets, salt.

I was told to drink a buttload of cranberry juice (which i like anyhow) and half a gallon to a gallon of water a day. They gave me a urine strainer to catch the stone to take to my regular "dr" which is actually just a master carrying asshole who has a bad tendancy for malpractice.

I was going to go to the base, but i'm sure i would have had to sit for a few hours before they would have saw me, and f-ck that, the pain was so unbareable, i was screaming and crying to the point of passing out.

I don't think so, Its not to usual for people under 25 to just have kidney stones, but they did tell me to watch my sugar/caffine/salt intake. Too much calcium also can contribute, but i'm lactose intolerant so I really don't drink milk. I'm dumbfounded as to how I got it. They said I could have had it for years and today BAM it fell and clogged my kidney...

they do say though, kidney pain is about the equivolent of giving birth. If this is the case, nooooooo way, i don't think i'm ready for kids.

I say, just take good care of yourself, drink plent of fluids, cause i wouldn't want you or anybody to feel the kind of pain I had to feel today.
