well they didn't exactly force him to be on the show, and secondly I'm pretty sure he knew what they were interviewing him about...Any self respecting person would have known what was going to happen during the interview, and yet he still blew up.

Comprehension owns you man.

Get the clue he had to accept or they would have gotten some other non related person to speak on behalf of the family (gardener, butler, whatever) and the true feelings of the family would not have been expressed.
