i tried but then randomly the computer forces itself to shutdown with a 60 sec unavoidable timer

theres a general tab when you right click - properties "my computer"

....okay....i guess its also call msconfig
i got rid of some programs from the sys tray because it was slowing down teh computer and cluttering up.
i found the answer....nevamind :thumbup:

start - run - type in "msconfig"....hit enter.
