ok my friend let me borrow his camera and its a hp photo smart.....i have a dell computer and how can i upload the pics on my computer?

It has a USB port right? You need either a USB cable or a card reader.

its plugged into my computer i just need like a program or something where i can bring the pictures up

goto the manufacturers website and download whatever they got in the support section. if not, bug your friend.

it might not work unless u have the software that came w/ the camera. i had the same problem last week.

hmm. plug into the USB port. your computer should detect it as a mass storage drive. open it, and drag onto desktop?
