There isn't really anything running now that wasn't running before. After I defrag, it's still kinda slow. Before it would instantly shut down, but now, there is still some time.

Not really in a hurry, it's just a noticable difference between an almost instant shutdown, to now waiting about 15-20 secs. for it to shutdown.

when xp would have the zip files as folders. i use powerarchiver and don't like the zip support they have with xp, so i disable it.

another thing i do is disable the error reporting. my computer | properties | advanced | error reporting
