i just got some antidepressants from the doctor
i dont know if im actually depressed, but my doctor gave them to me because i show signs of depression. im not asking for medical advice here (dakarM 
), but has anyone ever been on antidepressants? he gave me some stuff called Effexor XR. i didn't have to pay for it, so i dont care. it says "Venlanfaxine Hydrochloride Extended release capsules" whatever that means. anyways, i hope these work and give me some kind of improvement.

Yeah...I'm on laxapro, let me say it takes me a quite bit longer to nut.
Then there's paxil where you can't at all.
This is too much information. But I'm doing good I laxapro, I think. We'll see, I don't want to be on them for more than a year.

im worried though because a friend of mine went on antidepressants and i think hes scared for life now. totally a different person :dunno: and not for the better

With any perscription.. be careful. Especially if there's a history of addiction in you or anyone in your family. Your doctor should know not to give you more then he/she thinks you can handle. Especially with a drug that's easily addictive. I'm on Adderall.. (ADHD) but.. have no problems since it's something I can handle..
