Well, looks like my CAI is comin' off
I need money, and this thing is scaring me, what with the huge ass storm that just visited here.

more than common sense factors into it. Like needing to drive while it's raining, then seeing a puddle that looks like it's really shallow, but turns out to be pretty deep. that happened once, and it really freaked me out.

I drive in Oregon with mine on all the time.....I have yet to experience hydrolock and I am sure we get a crapload more rain than SoCal ever has.

bypass valve seems to negate the effects of having a CAI in the first place. Or so I've heard. My friend has one on his civic. He even has a header and exhaust, but I still rape him in any race.
epoch: 92-?? civic DX I dunno how far up it goes. I think it's only 95, but I'm not positive.

Here in Utah we get quite a bit of moisture (some years) and I haven't had a need for a bypass valve. You would be alright.
