what program are you using to transfer the photos/saving photos?

i have a s110.. and i use zoombrowserEX that came w/the camera

i know. but you can tell if the pic you post is abnomally dark for a pic being taken in the dark...:dunno:

I have an S200, sometimes pictures in the dark are perhaps a bit darker. Unless you're really in a hurry you can just play with the exposure compensation setting and take a couple pictures at different brightness levels.

I don't use the crappy Canon software though, I have a card reader so I can coppy whatever files I feel like and then I play with it in photoshop. Usually I can get pics to turn out alright with a little tweaking. But since it's a only a point-n-shoot and I use it for snap shots and that's about it I don't really concern myself with having great photos.
