My parents have been running their own businesses since they got married in 1976. Had taxi's (NYC), push carts of donuts and coffee (NYC), donut and coffee trucks (NYC), Mr. Softee ice cream trucks (NYC), Mexican restaurant (Texas), Used clothing import/export (Texas). Parents still have the coffee/donut push cart in NYC and some property. Have property here in Texas aswell. They do make some good $$ but it is hard I can tell you. We've been down and out but now it's really good. Just gotta hang in there and work your ass off like my parents did. Blood, sweat and tears.
