Isn't 0-60 in the 1.8 range a 9 second 1/4 ? If so, then this would have to be a high 9 - 10 sec 'vette.

15-1 compression... umm... maybe if you're running super-leaded.

i saw the article on that Lingenerfilter(sp) vette before. it does 60 in 1.9
it does 60 in first gear.

i think u missed the gas part

That's the rest of the quote... i didn't miss the fact he's running 118 octane or whatever, but even still, this is 15-1.

I guess its feasable, but the only cars i've ever heard of doing this much compression run leaded gas.




He's probably running that "one-gear" setup that most super-drag cars use. I forget what its called, though, or the physics behind it. It wont apply to me, so, no need to learn too much about it.
