that guy is laos. His las name is Souphanousimphone [sp?] which sounds laos. Hmong last names are like Vang, Thao, Ker, Xiong, Moua, etc etc.

There are a lot of lao in the southern states. The state with the most lao is Louisiana. Hmong iirc tend to reside in WI, IL, WA, OR, and of course CA:snoopy:
