Default Comp Experts: Firewall Question

I have DSL. There is an automatic firewall. When I turn off my firewall on battle.net, I get a system error after a few mins and my system restarts.

Is there a way to prevent this? I tried disconnecting my comp from the network and connecting directly through DSL and it still happens.

Solutions? Ty

what firewall are you turning off? the one in the computer or the one in the dsl modem?

Can you play without turning off the firewall?

I had a blaster worm virus. Fixed it with Norton and Windows XP updates. I think I fixed it...

I got it because I listened to some girl say "it's ok to open your firewall, tee hee" (and consequently ALL my ports) so I could send a file.

Moral: NEVER listen to non-computer people for computer advice. :happysad:
