tried to merge partitions and lost a 120gb part.

found a heavenly program on suprnova to get it back for me.....if you guys ever lose a partition or data to any reason make sure you don't run fdisk or write on the sectors you lost.

I heard that there's a prog that can recover your data even u Fdisk it twice............but still can't find it

 

FDisk doesn't do anything to the data, it's all still there.

 

I mean not Fdisk from MS, but the disk format from patrition magic where they took like half a day to format my 120GB hdd. h:

 

Formats dont do anything to data either, actually.

thank you so much sman... my c: partition pooped on me for some reason last week and i been holding off on the reformatting hoping that the data would magically come back somehow... but then i just took your advice on getdataback and now all is well.. thanks again...
