Yours has 5 buttons too? I only really use the extra buttons for CS but I also bought it for the reputable name and the precision. It is supposed to be very accurate, which is good for graphics and games. I didn't go for the cordless because I don't want to have to deal with batteries and I believe they are significantly heavier.

wireless keyboards = :nono:

anyone within a half mile can pick up what your typeing.

There have actually been cases where it's reached upto 5 miles, interfering with other peoples wireless keyboards too.

I almost went for that one, but I wanted something a bit more pleasing to the eye as well.

but if you have a cordless keyboard you can sit on your bed or couch or just a lil bit further while playing games online or doing stuff without being 1 feet from the screen which causes my eyes to hurt. biaatch! heheh
If I had a 25" monitor, I'd definitely go for it. But I have a lil(no pun intended:chuckles: )monitor, don't have a wireless keyboard so the only benefit would be teh coolness of saying "I've got a wireless optical mouse"

nah, but the 3 buttons I have are programmable My mouse is quick, accurate, and comfy, not to mention it looks cool as all hell. They made sure to let it be known that it has 800 dpi optical precision, whatever that means:dunno:

i could care less who picks up on my typing...its not top secret...its nothing meaningful so it doesnt matter, and i doubt anyone would take the time to worry about what i type.

well that's half the problem... what happens if someone near you also has a wireless keyboard. Most of them work in the same ranges and can easily interfere with what you or they do.

If that's not a problem, security or your far enough away (2+miles) from other people... then I'd love one!
