I think it all went down hill after the E39 and the E46. Although mercedes has surpassed BMW in styling, I think that BMW's build quality is still superior.

my old C320 had a very nice interior. the interior material will differ based on the options and the engine size.

I read a review in one of the english car rags, and I think the RS6 came out on top on a course in the wet, and in accel numbers, and in the dry, the E55 trounced them.

The difference was fairly marginal anyways, and Im willing to bet that in the end, its all in the drivers hands.
