Lookin for a beater for under 2g's
I have $2,000 to spend on a car that will get me from where I live to school an hour away and also to work.
I had an 88 jimmy for the past few years but it's pretty much died on me and I am looking for something that will be a little funner to drive.
I post a lot on another forum that originated from this board (but is full of retards and flamers) and since I was looking at a 90ish integra I figured I'd come here and ask for opinions.
I basically need something reliable. Manual tranny preferred. And just all around fun to drive and the ability to make it look nice.
So what do you guys suggest?

That's what I am looking for specifically. But I can't find any for under 2 grand. Every one I see online has motor swaps and they want 7-10k
The only integra I can find "locally" is about 100 miles away and they want way too much for it.
It sucks living in such a shitty state
