I don't understand how insurance pays for that. Unless he pays a premium for racing it. :dunno:

if the policy strictly prohibits track driving, then it will be covered.

obviously if he was racing, then it wont be covered.

I know several people that had track damage covered by their insurance company and they were all at a High Performance Driver Education event (aka track school, not a competition).

generally if the event is timed then it's considered racing and insurance wont cover it.

thus autox is not covered :doh: while HPDE is covered.

ok thanks. Seems kinda silly to insure someone who's testing the limits of their skills and their car on a track but whatever. Especially if they're just learning. :doh:
