i can't swim. pools are nothing more than death traps for me

 

I find it amazing that people dont know how to swim...I mean come on, its easier than riding a bike :thinking:


I can probably swim a mile before I cramp up and drown.

 

strangely enough, i'm allergic to chlorine. even if i'm in a hot tub for more than 10 min, i get these painful rashes.

 

I'm mildly allergic too. I start sneezing after being in a pool or tub for ~10 mins...but I like the water so I manage.

 

I love swimming.

 

more americans need to swim because it would help the overweight nation. swimming is great exercise

 

running in a pool has to be one of the hardest exercises around.

Everyone I know learned in the rivers and lakes that are like all over the place. I love swimming long distances in a lake. Looking from one side and getting to an island that seems far away or the other side... good times

 

I swim pretty good for my size and have done a mile in a lake before. Far from any record time but at least I know I can do it.
