[09:31] ABRN s k i e s: lemme ask you, a friend wants to insulate his exterior walls with out ripping down the sheet rock
[09:32] ABRN s k i e s: could he put holes in his top plate and spray cellulose down there?
[09:32] ABRN s k i e s: or is there a better way?
[09:32] Dad: pretty hard to get to the top plate
[09:33] ABRN s k i e s: whats the easiest thing to do without tearing up his drywall?
[09:33] Dad: aint
[09:33] Dad: take off a pice of siding?
[09:33] ABRN s k i e s: yeah, i thought about that too
[09:33] Dad: ive blown in from inside, and from outside, aint nutin easy
[09:34] ABRN s k i e s: what about great stuff?

[09:34] ABRN s k i e s: why?
[09:34] Dad: would cost a ****in fortune
[09:34] ABRN s k i e s: thought so
[09:34] Dad: and its a terrible mess
[09:34] Dad: and it expands and expands to the point of blowing the wall apart
[09:35] Dad: blow in fibre glass
[09:35] Dad: cheap, works
[09:35] ABRN s k i e s: but he would still have to cut a hole in something
[09:35] ABRN s k i e s: every 16"
[09:35] Dad: most lumber yards let you use machine for free if you buy the crap from em
[09:35] ABRN s k i e s: and then repair it
[09:35] Dad: and over and under every window and door
[09:36] Dad: what kinda siding?
[09:36] ABRN s k i e s: im not sure, im going to ask him
[09:36] ABRN s k i e s: cuz vinyl or al would make it pretty easy
[09:36] Dad: if its vinyl it is a piece of cake
[09:37] ABRN s k i e s: yah
