Default Shocks in Colder weather.

Now that its finally getting "cold" (in quotes because 50 degrees may not be "cold" for everyone else, but damn sure is for LA people) here, I cant help but to think my AGX's feel a significant amount stiffer than they were in the summer/LA heat.

Whats the technical reason behind this, if any?

because they are struts not shocks :slap:

The gas inside can be affected by temperature although only slight it is still affected.

The oil inside the shocks becomes more viscous as the temperature gets lower. This should only happen on short drives because the friction of the piston moving inside the shock will produce enough heat to warm up the oil after a few minutes.

And no 50 is not cold at all. You're a little bitch. :fawk:

Gee thanks mike. haha, that makes sense, it only feels a bit stiffer when i first drive the car.

50 is cold is when all you've had in the last 9 months is 80 plus degree weather. :fawk:
