Everything is everything
So I got to thinking about that phrase and it struck me as true.
In everything ugly there is something beautiful.
In everything new there is something old.
In everything awful there is something great.
and so it goes on and on and on to infinity.
In everything ugly there is something beautiful.
In everything new there is something old.
In everything awful there is something great.
and so it goes on and on and on to infinity.

I am saying that there is beauty and ugliness at the same time in the same thing.
Its all in how you view it.
Its all in how you view it.

Anyways, it's strange being a Taoist and letting it guide you as such. It's very easy and very hard at the same time
It's kinda hard to explain briefly, but it takes a bit of practice before you know when to be passive and when to exert force on the world.Basically, one's actions should be most analogous to the flow of water... And know when to flow around an obstruction, when to change course, or when pressure must be exerted to remove the obstacle...
***edit: I'd type more, but I lent out my copy of the Tao Te Ching, and I think it would be better to reference something more accurate than my memory
