What's buzzin, cuzzin = What's new?

Weed = A cigarette

Shot down = Failed

Jacked Up = Car with raised front end

Hottie = A very fast car

Haul ass = Drive very fast

Hang = As in "hang out" which means to do very little

Go for pinks = A drag race where the stakes are the car's pink slip

Fat = A great thing or place

Drag = A short car race

Chrome-plated = Dressed up

 

My Grandmother is like 84 and says "Holler" which means shouting or yelling. Than rappers had to go and molest the word.

 

So basically you are saying that not one of these terms is any different from how it is used today pretty much.

I've just seen certain people get mad that "white" people are using slang in which they aren't "supposed to".

Black people just like to pretend that white people steal all their shit. When in reality they just steal shit that white people said 50 years ago and then spell it in Ebonix and claim it as their own.

thats the point i was trying to make, but I agree that it wont end up good, so my new point is that terms we all use today have been around for awhile.
