i don't know if you all remember but 2 years ago i lost a friend to a motorcycle accident...

i don't want it to happen again.

a few nights ago a friend of mine, thomas, was traveling down a curvy road when a drunk driver clipped the side of his motorcycle and slung him into the ditch. the driver (who didn't know he had hit thomas), travelled another 1/8 mile and hit a car that happened to be driven by a parish counsilman. unfortunately, if something happens to the driver, this will probably be why.

i'd rather not give out the specifics of his condition, but please pray deeply for him. he will need it.

and to all who will question, he was wearing all protection. helmet, jacket, gloves etc. he was a VERY safe rider and definitely did not deserve this.

This and the other stories like it are why we need to call in these people.
Sunday night I followed one for 30 minutes till an officer caught up with us. On a 4 lane freeway speeds were from 20-60 and they drove off the road, through bushes, and back across all lanes at least 5-6 times.
