Beyond Borders (Serious Thread)
This movie should be seen be all. I dont feel I have the right to even comment, but it's changed my life. I hope it can change yours too. Serious posters only please, those who care to comment and those who've seen it.
Its about a woman (Angelina Jolie), who after a rebel doctor (Clive Owen) crashes a banquest she's attending for some "save the children (ethiopa)" charity fund, decides to go to Africa and help out as much as she can. The movie also takes you to Cambodia and [Lichtenstien??] all along while these 2 fall in love. The love story was ok but that's not what I cared for. The graphic realism (or lack thereof) of parts of the world that are seriously suffering gave me a bigger sense of graditute than I've ever imagined. It's a powerful movie in that sense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm curious to see any movie that's recommended by anyone with an intelligence, but... the thing has a rating of 15% on www.rottentomatoes.com
Can you give us some of your impressions on why it hit you so hard?
