he be pulling imaginary 60' numbers like .9 and ish :rick:

How about one of those Cobra kit cars? Those things can be made disgustingly fast for relatively cheap because they are so light.

that's the idea behind my suggestion

1300lb car with 350hp

you can probably put a 350v8 in there but the handling will suffer.

Try mid-engine.

I know the cobra kits are designed to have a Ford 5.0L in them (although you can put bigger ones in there), and the weight is distributed so that it is balanced with that 5.0L in it. With the 5.0 in it, I've heard they handle like they're on rails. From what I've also heard about them, with just a stock '87-'93 5.0 in it (with the stock 225 hp), they run high 12s - low/mid 13s. We all know how easy it is to get power out of that engine, so imagine the possiblities if you do some engine mods to it

What does a 400 horsepower and a 600 horsepower Supra have in common?

Werd. It would be the fastest of the selected, but definitley something with style. If you pick up a VR6 jetta or Golf to do this package instead, it'll be a little cheaper and potentially a little faster.

For 60K, you can't afford a lingenfelter or henessey. Find something with 6 or 8 cyls, rear wheel drive/AWD , and boost the shit out of it. Lightness is a plus, but some of these engines could put out 600 ft-lbs of torque so who cares.

Nissan RB25DETT (or 24, whatever) in a 240sx,
2JZ supra
3000GT VR-4
Rx-7 turbo or TT
4.6L 'stang GT (add a blower)
VW jetta/gti VR-6
1g or 2g AWD DSM @ 28 psi...

With that money, and a willingness to boost an engine, you can make a wide variety of cars very, very fast.

Just note that RWD/AWD, displacement, and lots of boost are typically the formulas for the "ultimate road machine".

We are trying to find out from him right now. He told another guy his 60 foot time was 1.98, so how the heck can he run 12.47. This guy is a loser. Unlike the rest of us, he made his car up. Nice try 02gt, you friggin loser.
