Tablet users come hither
Just picked up a used Transformer Pad Infinity 32 gig from a friend for $300. Came with a case, probably looking at the docking station soon. Wish it had a kickstand. Debated on this vs an iPad but the price was right. Should be nice for couch browsing, using at work with some EMS apps, and taking with me to meet clients and for when at meetings with my motorcycle group.
Anyone else using one?

Tyler has an ipad (og version) but is soon gonna be upgrading to the new ipad. I just picked up a kindle fire (80 bucks) and its pretty nice. No serious requirements from it other than reading and light surfing.

iPad user here. I have an HP Touchpad and Galaxy Tab too.
If I have business needs, getting an Android for Google Sync is worth it. The Android platform is a bit of a mess though.
Otherwise, the iPad is the standard. The screen, sound quality, and integration with Apple TV are very nice. Developer and Market support are unmatched.

Agreed with Dr. Drew.
Had a Toshiba Thrive before the iPad2. Screen alignment went out of whack two months after purchase. Toshiba told me to kick rocks; thankfully, Best Buy had my back. I will never buy a Toshiba product again. And IMO, Google needs to crack the whip on this kind of bullshit, because it gives Android a terrible image.

Had a Galaxy tab. The OS was a nightmare. I just needed it for PDF viewing and power points. No dice.
Got an iPad and haven't looked back. Won't be making that mistake again.

It does lag a little at times, but other than that I am liking it. I've been Android since day one so being familiar with the OS was a plus. If I had to pay full retail I would have had a hard time justifying this over an iPad.
