Default Grr, build it yourself furniture

A couple days ago I ordered a new Sony Wega tv. It's getting delivered tomorrow. Since I'm a poor college student I cheaped out on the stand and got this thing from Target for 50 bucks.

It looks like that but instead of those ugly CD racks on the sides it came with two small pieces of wood to make a couple vertical shelves. Fine by me because the CD racks are ugly. It also has a darker shiny black finish instead of the kind of matte yucky stuff.

Anyway the way you put this thing together is of course freakin retarded. So I'm in the mid-construction beer break for the moment.

Once I feel sufficiently refreshed I'll finish the damn thing. Grr.

If I'm not mistaken you still have to put together the spiffy lookin tv stands.

i'm pretty sure you do, but there's steel rods in the wood panels to keep the TV from sinking into the stand.

27in shouldn't need it though. i know the 35 or 36 does.

I don't care about the quality--I only need this thing for like 2 years.

The only thing I'm whining about is that I have to put it together.
