In high school, i took a very beginner level C++ class.
I loved it and aced the class. Throughout all my high school years i enjoyed math(went up to Math analysis[class b4 calc]). I had all A's or B's without tryin but now with my freshman semester half over im thinkin i made the wrong decision to become a CS major.
We are doing java programming but now it has lost its fun....its all stress. And my calc class is okay, i just need to work harder at it, but i don't think i can manage all the math classes that go along with CS(In VT, we get a math minor in our four years)
I'm lookin now for what i should change it to, then i'm gonna see my advisor in the morning to see what i'm gonna do.
I just built my first desktop this summer and it was really fun, i love being on the user end of the PC but not on the software development part. I love math but not when its the toughest available for your year. (all througout HS i had a math class that was a tier below what my friends were doin, no wonder i graduated in the top 5%). I do well in english and history but never loved them.
What kind of majors should i be looking into.....sorry for the long post....just kind of disappointed in myself.

sounds like high school didn't prepare you for realities of college.
but no matter what major you choose, you have to like/love doing it. sometimes you just have to stick out the stupid stuff to be able to do what you love later on.
honestly asking us for what major to look into wont help you. we are not you

I went from psychology to political science to English. Since I changed my major each of my first three years I now have to go for a 5th year.
Honestly I don't mind since I don't want to be in the real world yet anyway.
