M3s are nice....I'll give credit where credit is due, but for the money, I'd take a Z06....its just as impractical as a M3 (ie not a daily driver, RWD in the winter, etc.), but it looks nicer, its faster, and its a Corvette.

i think the old M3's, like 86-91? are the best. They are more rare then a mclaren and WOW! Wit only a 4 cyclinder it produces close to 200, thats european engineerin. the ones after that were kewl also, dont really like the new ones though.

more rare than a mclaren f1? I think not.

BMW over produced these cars. world production is over 17,000 with 10 different variations.

Sorry, I had to say something here.

For all you people who care or don't.

The 1st generation m3 was produced from 1985-91 in europe and 1988-91 in america. The imported american e30 m3 with the standard 2.3 l 4 cyl engine with a catalytic converter produced 195 hp. There were around 17,000 units of e30 m3s produced in the world and 13 different variations of e30 m3's made. Only one made it to america. There are e30 m3 cabrios, I believe only 786 of them were produced. I've heard 2 of them were imported to America.

I'd rock an E30 or E36 but the E46 is way over my weight limit for a sports car.

Here's a cool picture of the e30 m3 and the e46 m3 side by side. You'll notice that even though they're about 14 years apart, they still look pretty similar in certain ways.
