yep. most of the exhausts for the E46 M3s are just the mufflers. the eisenmans are. a lot of people are getting rasp-x mid pipes and then just chossing a muffler like eisinmann to go behind it. what's funny is that the 1 muffler for them costs what 2 cat-backs would cost us for our hondas.

i guess its all about the bling. i never understood it....i'd rather get something that will aid performance....not look like it will perform.

a lot of people have found that a lot of the aftermarket cat-backs for E46 M3s actually rob power. at least that is what i have heard. it makes sense. the e46s have already had most of the power possible squeezed out by bmw. also when you have 333 hp and ~260 lb. ft. you don't need that mush more power for the street. a lot of people get the exhausts for looks, or they spend their money on other things like suspension.

I'm sure asiandoood knew that. h:

Btw, most BMW stock exhausts are free flowing anyway so the only point is getting an exhaust is for the sound.
