not the windows msdos prompt...but how do i log into msdos from winxp home ed ??

well..i somehow deleted my dvd drive from my laptop...
went to dell and they have the drivers for it...
downloaded it and the thing set up its files to a floppy...
direction says from there....i have to get into dos to install the thing from my floppy to get it to work properly...

and there...im stuck at getting into dos..

goto device manger...see if it can see it but it needs drivers or check add hardware

yeh...the device manager sees it...but it doesnt have the drivers for it...
i can delete it and add it...itll show...but no drivers
