Saw Lost in Translation yesterday
It was a very good movie. I enjoyed it throughly. Most of you probably wouldn't like it or would never see it but I would recommend the movie to all of the female members.
My gf was laughing at all the jokes and the funny parts
BTW for the guys with GFs take your gf. There are some funny nude scenes heheeh. I know all you guys will enjoy the opening shot very much :chuckles:
Bill Murry was great with his humor and style of acting which reminded me quite a bit of his SNL days
I'm not goint to give too many details or it might spoil the movie. I wouldn't say the movie is a ground breaking movie but it certainly is a great couples movie. NOTE: not a good movie for first, second, third date.
I give it 3/4 stars

Another good movie that most people on this board wouldn't like is Dirty Little Things... VERY good, but kinda on the opposite end of the spectrum from Lost in Translation

I just saw lost in translation this weekend, and, without saying too much, I think it was the best movie I've seen this year.
What made it so amazing to me was (and i'm saying this as spoiler-free as possible) the expression of the relationship without any normal conventions, mainly even without words. It did the best job of replicating real life feelings that I can think of.

I agree about the expression. The small movements and little touches, for example when he touches her feet ever so slightly
Also the fact that we don't hear what he tells her at the end and we never see his wife
