Update on the Engagement

Here's how it went.
We went to dinner at a new place for dinner around 7. Ate our meal and enjoyed some beer. I said I had to go home to get a cigar because we were getting ready to meet her brother at the casino for a little gambling. We get home, and she says she wants to wait in the truck.
So I go inside and get the ring and the box out of its hiding place. Then I go out to the back patio and light the 2 pumpkins which say WILL YOU MARRY ME? and I give the dog a treat so he won't interfear. Turn all the lights out on the back patio so all you can see is the pumpkins.
Go back out to the truck and tell her the dog got loose and i need her help to find him. We go inside and I tell her, I lied, he wasn't loose. I carved some pumpkins for her Class (she's a school Teacher for those who don't know) and i wanted to show them to her. I made her close her eyes and took her out to the patio, she stood there and i was behind her. I told her to open her eyes and her jaw dropped, she turned to me at her side and i got down on one knee and asker her to marry me. She started crying and i had a couple of tears. It was awsome.
Sorry So long, but it was a great weekend. I'll have pictures of the pumpkins soon, as well as the ring on her hand.
