Goddam Toyota owners are some Honda hating ass bastards...

actually they're just as bad as us, we prefer Honda, they prefer Toyota. Also there's the Nissan guys too. We're all in a competition that is way too big to discuss, its really pointless to continue to argue because all sides come up with good points. So why waste our time and breath on something so petty, I know we're all better than this.

we used to own toyota's. i like celica's alot, and the new solara, but otherwise their pretty uninspiring to me and rather boring. plus i just like honda's. my CL's never had big problems, and the MDX is just great. plus honda's (to me) are just better looking.

AV6 6spd>Solara (AT only)
Civic Si>Corolla S
S2K>MR2
RSX>Celica
Pilot>Highlander
CRV>RAV4
Odyssey>Sienna
AV6 Sedan>Avalon/Camry
TL>GS
Civic Hybrid>Prius
Insight>Echo
NSX>SC
Although I will admit it is a close comparison between the CRV and RAV4, the Pilot and Highlander, and the Odyssey and Sienna all the listed comparable Hondas are better than the Toyotas. The lack of availability of a 6MT for all V6 models and the fact that they do not keep up with the J-series. Lack of a competitor for the Civic Si although if one si to compare the Corolla S against the Civic Sedan it does edge it out in terms of hp and valvetrain but the FP package on the Civic makes an near equal match. There is no coupe available and as before mentioned no Si competition so civic>corolla. S2K eats MR2's for dinner, period. Even though the RSX is in the luxury division it is comprably priced to the Celica and edges it out with its specs. The Pilot is wildly popular and also out-specs the Highlander. The Insight actually had style considere in its design and it outperforms and out MPG's the echo. Even though the Prius has 14 better MPG in the city they have identical highway mileages and the civic makes abotu 50% more hp. Even though the Prius is a little bit more efficent it has to be a slug to drive wheras the civic is barely any different from an ordinary civic sedan as well as the fact that the Prius just got updated while the civic sedan hybrid design is a couple years old. So Honda hybrid>Toyota Hybrid. The Odyssey is sellign so well that Honda has decided to push into a 5th model year wheras the recently redesigned Sienna is a similar product hat has less power and needs premium gas. The new TL is awesome and the GS despite having a more powerful V8 with a better valvetrain and is only .2 seconds faster from 0-60 and has no MT available for it, not to mention the awesome good looks of the new TL. NSX vs. SC? :db:
Although I'm sure many of my perhaps biased points can be challenged there are soem pluses for Toyota. Honda completely lacks a V8 engine for big luxury sedans and SUV's. Also Honda has a complete lack of trucks and strong off roading SUV's as well as big luxury 7 or 8 passenger SUV's. But Toyota does lack an exotic sportscar.
