(Cliff's notes at bottom if you don't wanna read the whole thing.)

So I woke up this afternoon after a kind of wild night last night and decided to do a check for all the essential items--keys, wallet, cell phone. Well I guess I should clarify that first I woke up at about 9 am on the floor at the bottom of my steps to the sound of my roommate telling me I passed out on the floor, then went up to my bed and back to sleep. Like I said, kind of a wild night.

Anyway, back to checking for wallets and stuff. I found everything in order on the counter but when I checked inside my wallet for my key it wasn't there. Sometimes I don't put it back in and leave it on the counter, but the key was nowhere to be found. I decided to turn my attention to other things and noticed a new voicemail on my phone. The message was from my roommate who just so happens to be going to Las Vegas this weekend with her mom and was taking the bus to Milwaukee today to meet up.

"Hey Mike it's Jackie. When I was leaving I accidentally took your key because I saw it on the counter and thought it was mine. But when I got to the bus depot I found my key in my purse. I asked the clerk if I could leave it there for you to pick up but they wanted eight dollars cash and I need cash. Sooo I went outside the building and found this green power transformer box thing and left your key on the ground next to it. Otherwise my sister Michelle has a spare key of mine and you can call her up. Sorry about this."

Dammit.

So now my options are to walk 20 minutes out of my way to the bus depot and hope I can find my key on the ground (oh and the front door of my building is always locked so if I don't find it I won't be able to get in), or to call Michelle and sit on my ass here until she can find time to bring me a key.

Dammit.

Cliff's Notes: My roommate took my key to the apartment with her on the way to Las Vegas and I've gotta waste a whole bunch of time getting it back.

 

Ohhh that sucks, let's hope your roomate brings you back something nice from Vegas like............MONEY.

Well just great.

I'm not going over to that bus depot because I won't be able to get back in the building if I can't find the key.

I called Michelle and got her voicemail but her mailbox is full. I left a callback number. Now I have to wait until she calls me back and I can't go anywhere because I won't be able to get back in the building. Dammit.

Jackie so owes me a favor after this one. Something along the lines of a blowjob from one of her hot friends.

 

Doesn't someone else have a copy that you can have copied?

 

Maybe the landlord but I don't think their offices are open on weekends.
